AGENCY QUALIFICATIONS
Sure Aeroflite Travel is a fully qualified travel agency with all the latest technology
at our fingertips.
Galileo:
We use the Galileo reservations system for all our bookings. This system allows
us direct access to the airlines’ reservations systems as well as many hotels and
car hire groups as well. What this means is that confirmation of a reservation is
instantaneous and we are able to advise clients immediately if there are any schedule
changes to their reservations. Galileo also offers our clients the opportunity to
view their own reservation in the Viewtrip.com application which is available through
the internet.
Quicktrav:
Quicktrav is an accounting package which has been written especially for the
travel industry. Among other applications it affords us the opportunity to monitor
a clients’ travel expenditure over a given period of time and to provide them with
travel management reports showing their expense for various aspects of travel. This
can be a valuable tool when it comes to budgeting for the year and also gives us
the facts and figures needed to negotiate with the various principles for corporate
rates on behalf of our clients.
IATA:
We are full licensed as an IATA agent which enables us to issue tickets
in our office.
ASATA:
We are also members of the ASATA organization which keeps us up to date on developments
within the industry both in South Africa and abroad.

Corporate and Leisure Travel:
Sure Aeroflite Travel is really a “one stop” travel shop. We are able to assist
our clients with all their travel needs from corporate and leisure travel to group
and incentive reservations.
Some of the services that we offer are as follows:

Incentive/Group Travel:
With regard to group and incentive reservations, we not only provide travel services
but are also more than happy to assist with any fund-raising and/or advertising
which may be required. Our tours can be costed to include or exclude a tour leader,
as required.
Accounts:
Sure Aeroflite Travel does not offer a 30-day account system as we prefer that our
clients use a credit card for all their travel transactions. It is our experience
that the credit card system offers much more to our client (voyager miles, 30 days
credit, free travel insurance etc.). We will reconcile the credit card statement
each month to make the accounting that much easier for our clients. In the event
that a client has an existing credit card lodged with another travel agency and
wishes to move their account to Sure Aeroflite, we will gladly assist with the relevant
application for a lodged card with ourselves and will also cover the costs incurred
to do this. For those clients who would prefer to pay by cheque or cash we are happy
to work on a COD basis or alternatively, accept a deposit each month in advance
to cover the expected travel expenses for the month. We charge very competitive
service fees to cover our costs and we are open to negotiations with regard to these
fees. A list of these fees is available on request.
24-Hour Emergency Contact:
We offer a 24-hour emergency telephone contact with both Sharon and Alison. Both
have the Galileo system installed on their computers at home and will be able to
assist with any emergency reservations or queries at any time of the day or night.
This is especially valuable to our clients when they travel internationally as they
can rest assured that in the event that they need assistance, Aeroflite Travel will
be available.
Qualified Staff:
At Sure Aeroflite Travel we believe in employing highly qualified staff and, as
such, our staff are extremely knowledgeable in their various areas of expertise.
We also continue to train the staff on an ongoing basis as changes take place in
the industry and we do our best to keep up with all the latest trends in the Travel
Industry. As a smaller agency our consultants work closely together and keep each
other updated on various rule changes or new fares being released. Our computer
system is always up to date and we are also sent regular e-mails from all our suppliers
with any changes. We also regularly attend workshops to keep up to date on changes
in the industry.
Delivery of Documentation:
Aeroflite Travel will deliver any travel documentation to your offices
free of charge. We will also collect any documentation required to process a booking
(eg. Visa applications etc.) We use a very reliable delivery service who collects
from our office twice a day. If the delivery is urgent we will arrange for one of
our staff members to make the delivery.
KEEPING OUT CLIENTS INFORMED
At Sure Aeroflite Travel we believe that an informed client is a happy client. We
will issue regular newsletters keeping our clients up to date on the latest changes
in the travel industry and will send emails with any specials which we feel are
good value for money and also with any urgent information that we feel you need
to
know about (eg. Any delays in flights, changes to airline policies etc.)
